IITRAM successfully hosted CYBERWISE–2025, a two-day national workshop on cybersecurity organised by its Cyber Club with support from the CAWACH Kendra, Government of Gujarat. The event united leading academicians, security professionals and industry practitioners to explore evolving digital threats and innovation-driven defence strategies.
Dignitaries Set the Tone
Welcoming the delegates, Dr. Prasun Tripathi, Coordinator of the Cyber Club, said,
“Cybersecurity is no longer a specialised domain—it is a universal responsibility. CYBERWISE–2025 reflects IITRAM’s commitment to developing skilled defenders for tomorrow’s digital ecosystem.”
Addressing the gathering, Prof. P. K. Jain, Director General, IITRAM, added,
“Our institute continues to advance research in digital technologies. Workshops like these empower students with skills that are not only academically relevant but critical to national digital resilience.”
Chief Guest Prof. P. H. Rughani, Dean, School of Cyber Security and Digital Forensics, NFSU Gandhinagar, emphasised the growing complexity of cyber warfare.
“Today’s cyberattacks are faster, stealthier and more sophisticated. The nation needs a strong talent pool of cyber professionals who can anticipate, analyse and neutralise such threats,” he said.
Guest of Honour Prof. Archana Gondalia, OSD, CAWACH Kendra, Government of Gujarat, highlighted the state’s proactive approach.
“CAWACH Kendra is committed to strengthening cyber awareness at the grassroots. Our goal is to build an informed, responsible and resilient digital citizenry,” she noted.
Proposing the vote of thanks, Dr. Ramnarayan, Associate Head, Department of CSE, IITRAM, said,
