Speaking with navjeevanexpress.com, veteran journalist S S Kannan alias Samaran, founder-editor and Chairman and Managing Director, Jananaayakan.com, said, “Jananaayakan is the South India’s first mobile-based Digital News & Entertainment Network in Tamil. The portal was launched on October 18, 2020 to offer fearless, independent and neutral news for the discerning readers of Tamil spread all over the world. We do not show any leniency to any political party or corporate and maintain our distinctive identity.”

When asked about the idea to choose the mobile media to launch the news portal, Samaran said, “Over 70 percent of the population possess mobiles and prefer to read news as and when it breaks out and has wider reach among the millennial. We cover right from politics to cinema, and also education, employment and science and technology so as to cater to the taste of all”.

And above all, our team of editors led by Valli Ramesh & Vaishnavi Kannan and fact-check all news before publishing to ensure their authenticity.
