Aimed at exploring the intersection of financial technology and banking services Public sector lender Indian Bank flagged off ‘The FinTech Yatra 2024’, at its Corporate Office, Chennai, on Monday.
Fintech Yatra organised by ‘The Fintech Meetup’, is a 10,000-kilometre-long road journey designed to catalyse fintech ecosystem in India by interacting with 350+ fintech start-ups and help them with product understanding, network support and venture capital guidance.
The Yatra started at Bengaluru on 23rd February 2024 as a platform for industry leaders, innovators, and stakeholders to exchange ideas, showcase innovative solutions, and chart the course for the future of banking in India. Through engaging discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities, participants will gain valuable insights into emerging trends, regulatory frameworks, and best practices shaping the fintech ecosystem.
The flag-off ceremony at Chennai was led by Bank’s Executive Director Imran Amin Siddiqui in the presence of other Executive Directors Mahesh Kumar Bajaj, Shiv Bajrang Singh and senior officials of the Bank. Abhishant Pant, Founder of The Fintech Meetup was present in the occasion with his team.
Joining “The Fintech Yatra, 2024’ is a testament to Bank’s proactive approach in embracing digitalization and staying at the forefront of change in the financial services landscape. The Yatra will be reaching Delhi, travelling through major cities in India, boosting the connect between early stage start-ups and various financial institutions.
