AHMEDABAD, APRIL 17
Indian Coast Guard chief VS Pathania reviewed the operational preparedness of his troops along the maritime boundary with Pakistan in the Gujarat area during his three-day visit from April 15-17, ICG officials said on Sundau.
The Director-General visited Coast Guard Region North West from Friday to Sunday, April 15 to 17, 2022 wherein he visited various ICG units at District Headquarters at Okha & Porbandar and the Coast Guard Station Vadinar

He also inaugurated ICG hoverport at Okha for berthing and maintenance of these vessels to provide faster turnaround for operation. The DG laid the foundation store of Coast Guard Jetty at Vadinar. Both these projects will provide impetus to ICG growth in the region and will provide faster operational turnaround and maintenance fillip to ICG.

The DGICG was accompanied by President Tatrakshika who also interacted with families of ICG personnel and inaugurated Mess Annexe Facility at Okha.
Inspector General AK Harbola, TM, Regional Commander (North West) also accompanied the DGICG along with District Commanders.
