A special campaign of “एक पेड मॉ के नाम“ was observed by the Indian Coast Guard North-West Region. ICG units in the state of Gujarat also undertook the tree plantations at various places.
Inspector General Tekur Sashi Kumar, TM, Commander Coast Guard Region (NW) led Rank and File of ICG Regional Headquarters at Gandhinagar for this noble cause. Over 200 trees were planted at Gandhinagar by officers, men and civilians of ICG with zeal and enthusiasm.
Similar drives were undertaken by CG DHQ-1 at Porbandar and CG DHQ-15 at Okha & other ICG units with a total of more than 1,000 plants being planted.
