The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) officials apprehended two Pakistani fishing boats with 18 crew inside Indian waters on Friday, says a Defence release.
The Indian Coast Guard Ship (ICGS) Arinjay whilst patrolling in Arabian sea observed two Pakistani Fishing Boats operating inside Indian waters on Friday. On being challenged, the boats started to flee towards Pakistan side, however, the ICG ship intercepted the boats and stopped them in Indian waters.

On further investigation, it was established that the two boats namely
Al-Noor-Ul- Subah and Al-Abdul-Salam had 18 crew and are Karachi-based. On thorough rummaging by the ICG team 60 Kg sea shells were also found.
As the presence of boats in the area could not be explained and justified by the crew, both the boats were brought to Okha harbour for further interrogation.
