As part of the Navy Week celebrations, the Indian Navy has organised an outdoor Band Concert, following all the COVID protocol procedure at INS Adyar in Chennai on Saturday (November 21, 2020), says a release from Defence PRO.
Governor Banwarilal Purohit was the Chief Guest for the Event. Flag Officer Commanding Tamil Nadu & Puducherry Naval Area Rear Admiral Puneet Chadha and other officers and guests were present for the one hour music program.
The Eastern Naval Command Band related closely to its audience, incorporating different forms and genres of music; through musicit wove a rich tapestry, embodying India’s abiding characteristic of “Unity in Diversity”.
As part of the performance, ships of the Tamil Nadu and Puducherry Naval Area were illuminated and carried out a steam past, the release added.
