The 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), taking place in Goa from Wednesday, November 20 to Thursday, November 28, 2024, has selected Swatantra Veer Savarkar as the opening film for its prestigious Indian Panorama section. Directed by and starring Randeep Hooda, this historical drama delves into the life of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, an influential figure in India’s independence movement. Hollywood producer Jay Patel, who portrays freedom fighter Shyamji Krishna Varma in the film, expressed his excitement for the premiere, praising Hooda’s dedication and the commitment of the entire cast and crew.
“All credit goes to Randeep Hooda and his family.
