In a move set to elevate the airport travel and retail experience, IndiGo, India’s largest airline, has entered into a strategic partnership with Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL) to enable members of the airline’s loyalty programme IndiGo BluChips to earn rewards on duty-free purchases at airports managed by the Adani Group.
The collaboration integrates the BluChips loyalty ecosystem with the Adani airport retail platform, allowing passengers to pre-order duty-free products online and conveniently collect them at the airport before departure.
Under the programme, IndiGo BluChips members will earn five BluChips for every ₹100 spent on duty-free purchases, adding a new dimension to the airline’s customer engagement strategy beyond flight bookings.
Transforming the Airport Retail Experience
The initiative combines IndiGo’s vast flight network and loyal customer base with Adani Airports’ rapidly expanding airport infrastructure and retail ecosystem, creating a unified digital journey for travellers.
Passengers can browse products, reserve them online and make payments ahead of travel through the Adani platform, ensuring a quick and hassle-free pickup at the airport.
The loyalty points earned will be credited to members’ BluChips accounts within 24–48 hours of purchase, enhancing the overall value proposition for frequent travellers.
Leadership Speaks
Neetan Chopra, Chief Digital and Information Officer of IndiGo, said the partnership reflects the airline’s commitment to enriching customer experiences.
“At IndiGo, we are constantly striving to enhance the value proposition of our loyalty programme. This partnership with Adani Duty Free extends meaningful rewards beyond flights, making every stage of the journey more rewarding for our customers. By combining IndiGo’s extensive network with Adani’s premium duty-free retail experience, we are delighted to offer greater convenience, choice and value to millions of travellers.”
Suchit Bansal, Chief Executive Officer – Non-Aero at Adani Airport Holdings Limited, said the collaboration represents a major step in transforming airport retail in India.
“We are redefining how travellers shop at airports by integrating digital discovery, pre-order convenience and seamless collection through the Adani platform. Our partnership with IndiGo brings together India’s largest airline and the country’s largest private airport operator to deliver a connected and rewarding travel retail experience.”

The programme will soon expand to Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati and the newly operational Navi Mumbai International Airport.
Powerhouses of India’s Aviation Ecosystem
IndiGo operates more than 2,000 daily flights connecting over 140 destinations, including more than 95 domestic and 40 international locations, making it India’s largest airline by fleet size and passenger traffic.
Meanwhile, Adani Airport Holdings Limited manages eight major airports across India and operates the Navi Mumbai International Airport, one of the country’s largest greenfield aviation infrastructure projects that commenced commercial operations in December 2025.
Together, these airports handle hundreds of millions of passengers annually, placing AAHL at the forefront of India’s private airport infrastructure sector.
A New Era of Connected Travel
Industry experts say the partnership reflects a broader shift toward digitally integrated travel ecosystems, where booking flights, earning loyalty points and shopping at airports become part of a seamless passenger journey.
By combining aviation connectivity with digital retail innovation, the IndiGo–Adani alliance aims to redefine airport experiences while strengthening customer loyalty for both brands.
