Dhirubhai Ambani University School of Law (DAU SoL) on Saturday hosted IndusAcX Summit 2025: The Industry–Academia Exchange at its Gandhinagar campus, bringing together more than 200 leading voices from the legal profession, industry, policymaking and academia from across the country.
Held as part of Dhirubhai Ambani University’s silver jubilee celebrations, the Summit was envisioned as a flagship national platform to foster sustained collaboration between industry and academia, in alignment with the national vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. The initiative underscored the growing need to align legal education, policy research and professional practice with India’s evolving economic and regulatory landscape.
The Summit also marked the completion of the first year of operations of the Dhirubhai Ambani University School of Law, India’s only law school exclusively dedicated to Executive and Continuous Interdisciplinary Legal Education. The School focuses on capacity building for working professionals through industry-aligned Executive Development Programmes (EDPs), along with LLM and PhD programmes spanning emerging legal, regulatory and policy domains.
IndusAcX Summit 2025 featured participation from senior advocates of the Supreme Court of India and various High Courts, industry leaders, policymakers and academics. The Summit was inaugurated by Justice Hemant Prachchhak of the Gujarat High Court, while Dr. GK Goswami, IPS (Retd.), Founding Director of the Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Sciences (UPSIFS), Lucknow, attended as the special guest of honour.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. Dr. Avinash Dadhich, Founding Director of Dhirubhai Ambani University School of Law, said, “IndusAcX Summit 2025 was conceived as a platform where industry experience and academic rigour could meaningfully intersect. The response we received from the legal fraternity, industry and policymakers reaffirms the need for such structured dialogue to address contemporary legal and regulatory challenges.”
The day-long Summit featured 15 academic and industry panel discussions and research paper presentations, alongside a high-level industry conclave and a certificate presentation ceremony for participants of the School’s Executive Development Programmes. Discussions focused on emerging areas of law, regulatory reforms, forensic sciences, corporate governance and interdisciplinary approaches to legal education.
By enabling structured and sustained engagement between industry and academia, IndusAcX Summit 2025 reinforced DAU School of Law’s commitment to developing institutionally grounded, practice-oriented legal and policy leadership, supporting India’s next phase of economic and social growth.
