Infibeam Avenues Limited has announced a significant leadership transition with the planned elevation of Vishwas Patel, currently Joint Managing Director, to the position of Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, effective Thursday, December 11, 2025, subject to statutory approvals. Vishal Mehta will continue as Chairman & Managing Director, steering the organisation’s long-term AI-first strategic roadmap.
This transition marks the next phase of Infibeam’s multi-year transformation journey. Under Mehta’s leadership, the company has shifted from a diversified portfolio to a sharper, unified strategy anchored in digital payments under CCAvenue and AI-powered risk & intelligence solutions under Phronetic.AI. The re-architecture has improved operational productivity, expanded market presence and enhanced financial performance.
Leadership Transition to Strengthen Execution Velocity
In his new role, Vishwas Patel will lead day-to-day operations and oversee execution of strategic priorities, reporting directly to the Board. His mandate includes scaling Infibeam’s payments and AI platforms in an increasingly competitive and innovation-driven global ecosystem.

IIMA’s Dr Neharika Vohra Appointed Independent Director
The company also announced the appointment of Dr Neharika Vohra, Professor at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), as Additional Women Director (Non-Executive, Independent) for a five-year term, effective December 11, 2025.
