INS Airavat arrived at Visakhapatnam on Thursday with COVID-19 relief items. including cryogenic oxygen tanks, oxygen cylinders and ventilators, from Vietnam and Singapore.
INS Airavat embarked 158 MT of Liquid Med Oxygen in 7 Cryogenic O2 Tanks & 2722 Cylinders & other Relief material incl. 10 ventilators fm Vietnam & Singapore which was facilitated by Indian Missions.

The visit was part of Operation Samudra Setu-II that was launched by the Indian Navy for shipment of COVID-19 relief material from various countries to India.
As part of the operation, INS Airavat embarked 158 MT of Liquid Medical Oxygen in seven Cryogenic Oxygen Tanks and 2,722 Oxygen Cylinders, and other COVID Relief material, including 10 ventilators from Vietnam and Singapore which were facilitated by the Indian Missions., the Indian Navy said in a statement.
“The consignment is being handed over to various government agencies and NGOs (non-governmental organisations) after disembarkation,” it said.
