Telangana Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan on Saturday said that ‘3Es’ are vital for women empowerment.
She stated that ‘3Es’ —Education, Employment, Entrepreneurship — and self-confidence would contribute for the empowerment of women.

The Governor was virtually addressing the “Women Power Talk” programme organised by the State of Bank of India as part of the International Women’s Day Celebrations.
“The will power of the women will help them overcome the obstacles and hurdles in their path,” she added.
Elaborating on the achievements of women, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan said that now women pilots are flying fighter jets, guarding our borders, and are excelling as astronauts.
“Fearing of obstacles, women should not desist from pursuing their dreams to make it big in life,” she added.
The Governor lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for assigning key portfolios like Finance, External Affairs, and Defence to woman ministers, in the present term and the earlier one and thus shattering the tradition of restricting woman ministers only to portfolios like Women and Child Development.
She lauded that women medicos are now opting for specialisations like Surgery, Cardiology, Nephrology, and Orthopaedics.
Many woman officers of various ranks of the State Bank of India took part in the virtual Power Talk Programme.
