This is the 10th time that Chennai Super Kings have reached the IPL final. The four-time champions finished 9th in the points table last season, but they bounced back in sensational style this season. CSK finished second in the points table with 17 points from 14 matches thanks to some heroics play from their openers, middle-order batters, rookie bowlers and cool captaincy from MS Dhoni.
As the CSK enters the final after beating the defending IPL champions Gujarat Titans, CSK fans danced with joy and the fireworks filled the sky over Chepauk.
