Marking 25 years of operations, Ishan Technologies, a leading pan-India ICT and digital infrastructure provider, has unveiled a ₹300-crore investment roadmap aimed at building AI-ready, secure and sovereign digital infrastructure across India. The planned investment will accelerate expansion of advanced connectivity, sovereign cloud, cybersecurity, and platform-based digital services across metros, Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, while enabling entry into new and emerging markets.
Founded in 2000, Ishan Technologies has evolved from a regional ISP into a trusted national technology partner with operations spanning 100+ locations across the country. Over the past two and a half decades, the company has built and operates mission-critical digital infrastructure, including owned fibre networks, a National Long Distance (NLD) licence, edge Points of Presence (PoPs), carrier-grade platforms, and Rated-3 data centre capabilities.
Positioned at the intersection of policy, technology and enterprise needs, Ishan is empanelled with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) as a Cloud Service Provider, follows CMMI Level-3 certified delivery processes assessed by KPMG, and is also empanelled under the IndiaAI initiative as a digital infrastructure provider. The company serves a wide spectrum of enterprises, governments and institutions, supporting India’s digital public infrastructure and national technology priorities.
As India enters a phase defined by AI adoption, cloud interconnectivity and stronger data governance, Ishan is transitioning from standalone telecom services to a unified, platform-led operating model. The new approach integrates data networks, cloud interconnect, MPLS, SASE and bandwidth-on-demand under a single umbrella—enabling enterprises and public institutions to deploy secure, software-defined, scalable and resilient digital environments with improved transparency and performance.
Commenting on the milestone and future roadmap, Pinkesh Kotecha, Chairman & Managing Director, Ishan Technologies, said, “Our journey has been about building digital infrastructure that creates meaningful connections and stands the test of time. As cloud becomes sovereign by necessity and networks move toward software-driven models in 2026, the real differentiator will be platforms that bring security, performance, and resilience together end-to-end. With investments in AI-led network optimisation, intelligent automation, and customer experience solutions, we are focused on making digital infrastructure more adaptive, efficient, and responsive to real business needs.”
With a strong track record in mission-critical execution, Ishan has delivered several high-impact digital implementations across sectors such as government, aviation, BFSI and national digital platforms. The company’s long-term strategy is closely aligned with India’s growing emphasis on digital sovereignty, secure infrastructure and trusted domestic technology alternatives.
Headquartered in Gujarat, Ishan sees the state emerging as a major hub for AI, digital infrastructure and data-led industries over the next decade, providing a strategic base as India scales its digital and economic ambitions.
People remain central to Ishan’s growth vision. The company employs 2,000+ professionals across engineering, network operations, cloud, cybersecurity and managed services, and plans to expand its workforce by 20% over the next 24 months, with a strong focus on building regional talent pools. Ishan was also certified as a Great Place to Work by the Great Place to Work Institute in 2024.
Looking ahead, Ishan Technologies has articulated a bold ambition for its next growth phase, targeting a 10× scale over the next 3–4 years as it transitions from execution-driven delivery to platform excellence, while continuing to prioritise customer experience, reliability and trust across the digital ecosystem.
