AHMEDABAD, JULY 1
Jan Sangharsh Virat Party (JSVP), which is present in 13 states for the last two years, on Tuesday announced that it will challenge the political giants BJP and the Congress in the upcoming local body elections to be held this year in Gujarat.
Speaking to the media, JSVP’s prime face and the national youth president Arjun Mishra said that the party will field candidates in all wards of the local bodies like municipalities, municipal corporations. To commence the spadework for the local body polls, JSVP has released its manifesto after getting the approval of the party’s National President Dinesh Soni and the core team, Mishra added.
“After contesting the 2019 Lok Sabha and Gujarat Assembly by-elections and testing the Gujarat waters, the party is now confident of challenging the ruling BJP and the lead opposition Congress at ground level elections. Jan Sangharsh Virat Party is emerging as the third alternative for the electorate in Gujarat politics. The party’s main poll planks are youth leadership and primary issues – migrant labourers, farmers, etc,” Mishra said.
The party is most active in Gujarat and Arjun Mishra is the main face of the party after contesting in Ahmedabad East Lok Sabha election and Amraiwadi Assembly by-election. He had fought against Narendra Modi in the Varanasi Lok Sabha polls.
A confident Mishra said, “The party is emerging as the third front in BJP’s strong ground Gujarat and is highly active at ground level by helping the civilians to resolve their civic issues, weak execution of town plan by the administration and the current corporation. People are now looking forward to JSVP as the only option in the upcoming corporation election for their issues to be resolved completely and for a better town planning implementation in the coming years.”
Arjun Mishra also stated that the party will be launching a membership enrolment campaign soon to bring about a change. Currently, dynasty-based and caste-based politics is weakening the very foundation of democracy and the constitution. Party firmly believes that the active participation of youth is needed in Indian politics now and politics be considered as a professional opportunity rather than a hereditary opportunity.
The Jan Sangharsh Virat Party has also announced a WhatsApp helpline 9998799737 to resolve the plight of citizens across the country.
