Jan Sangharsh Virat Party (JSVP) on Friday issued an ultimatum to journalist-turned-politician and AAP leader Ishudan Gadhvi that he should tender an apology for calling “Gujarat is becoming a Bihar” within 24 hours from 3 pm. The party has also submitted a memorandum to Ahmedabad City Police Commissioner urging him to file an FIR against Gadhvi for spreading hatred againt Uttar Bharatiya or North Indians.
Gadhvi had allegedly made this remark after AAP leaders had been manhandled in Junagadh on June 30 during his party’s campaign. The JSVP has also submitted the video footage of the news which was telecast on VTV Gujarati, a news channel.
JSVP workers led by party’s national youth president Arjun Mishra, Gujarat regional spokesperson Neeraj Shukla staged a protest on Ashram road against Gadhvi for berating Biharis.
Speaking with navjeevanexpress.com, JSVP’s prime face and the national youth president Arjun Mishra said that the party will hold a token protest at Satyagrah Chhavni in Gandhinagar on Saturday at 3 pm. About 50 party workers will take part in this toeken protest by following all COVID SOPs.
When asked whether the party has obtained police permission to hold the protest, Mishra said that “at present the police do not give nod.”
Armed with the National Crim Record Bureau’s statistics, Mishra claimed the crime situation is better in Bihar than Gujarat.
Asserting that the Constitution has given all rights to all Indians to live any part of the country, he said, “We, North Indian migrant workers, have given sweat and blood for the development of Vibrant Gujarat and are peace-loving. Any kind of insult to our prestige will not be tolerated. Being the law-abiding citizens, we hereby urge the honourable Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani, the home minister and Ahmedabad police chief to take an appropriate action against Gadhvi.”
The party will take out an Uttar Bharatiya Ashmita Yatra from Ahmedabad to Varanasi on August 15, the Independence Day, he added.
Jan Sangharsh Virat Party (JSVP), which is present in 17 states for the last three years, announced that it will contest in all 182 Assembly constituencies in 2022 polls.
