A cinematic ode to compassion, kindness, and the essence of humanity, the Gujarati film ‘JEEV’ is all set to release in theatres on November 21, taking audiences on an emotionally charged journey inspired by a true story.
Produced under the banner of Vivaan Films LLP, JEEV is directed by Jigar Indubala Kapdi and produced by Nirav Mehta and Vicky Mehta. The film features acclaimed actor Dharmendra Gohil in a powerful lead performance, supported by Sunny Pancholi and Shraddha Dangar, with veteran artistes Yatin Karyekar and Hemang Shah in key roles.
At the heart of JEEV lies the story of Veljibhai Mehta, a man who dedicated his life to protecting and caring for cattle—treating them not as animals, but as members of his family. Portrayed by Dharmendra Gohil, Veljibhai’s character embodies the timeless virtues of empathy and service.
The film’s motion poster launch recently generated overwhelming buzz on social media, with viewers lauding its heartfelt premise and eagerly awaiting its theatrical release.
“JEEV is a celebration of the invisible emotional bond between humans and animals. It encourages everyone to reflect on compassion and kindness in their own lives,” the makers said in a joint statement.
More than just a film, JEEV serves as a soulful reminder of our moral duty towards all living beings—a call to rediscover empathy in an increasingly self-centered world.
Releasing on November 21, JEEV promises to redefine emotional storytelling in Gujarati cinema, leaving audiences inspired by the enduring power of humanity and love for all life.
