The trailer of the Gujarati film ‘Jeev’, inspired by a true and deeply moving incident, has been launched to an overwhelmingly warm reception. Packed with raw emotion and a resonant message of humanity, the trailer offers a compelling first look at a story that celebrates compassion towards voiceless living beings.
Produced under the banner of Vivaan Films LLP and directed by Jigar Kapadi, the film is set to release statewide on December 12. The project is helmed by producers Nirav Mehta and Vicky Mehta.
Front and centre in the trailer is a riveting performance by Dharmendra Gohil, whose portrayal adds immense gravitas to the narrative. He is supported by a talented ensemble cast, including Sunny Pancholi, Shraddha Dangar, Yatin Karyakar, and Hemang Shah. The trailer opens with a stirring line that instantly draws viewers into its emotional world:
“What is the fault of these mute beings? Only that they have life, but no voice to speak…”
The film revolves around Veljibhai Mehta, an extraordinary real-life figure who devoted his entire life to rescuing and serving animals. Through sensitive storytelling, Jeev explores the profound, unspoken bond shared between humans and speechless creatures — a bond Veljibhai embodied with every act of service. His life’s mission made him a true ‘Jeev’, a lifeline for countless beings who could not speak for themselves.
At the launch, the makers shared, “‘Jeev’ is not just a film; it is a powerful message that inspires humanity, empathy, and compassion. The trailer is the first bridge between the audience and the film’s soul. We believe this story will touch every heart.”
The trailer of Jeev is now streaming on YouTube and all major digital platforms.
