Aiming to bring out the latent talents of its students and impart man-making education, JG International School hosted the Annual Two-Day Carnival, featuring “JGIS Fete Fiesta” and “Expressions – An Arena of Creations and Innovations” on Friday, 17th and Saturday, 18th January 2025. The event was a spectacular display of excitement, entertainment and community spirit.
Day 1: JGIS Fete Fiesta
The carnival highlighted the academic and creative talents of the students. Stalls set up by students and teachers showcased their artistic abilities, captivating the crowd and a special segment catered to children’s interests, offering a wide range of rides and games.
The Open House was a hand-on experience based on the curriculum to witness the students’ learning in action. The Future Zone presented a series of fascinating scientific and technological advancements. Students demonstrated and explained their learning, illustrating the practical applications of their knowledge.
The culinary skills demonstrated by the students in the Cookery Activity added a delicious touch to the event.
Day 2: Expressions – An Arena of Creations and Innovations
The Annual Display of Academics and Activities titled “Expressions – An Arena of Creations and Innovations,” took place on Saturday, 18th January 2025, showcasing the remarkable talents and hard work of students. The event showcased a variety of co-curricular activities and each performance, from the graceful movements of Dance and Aerobics to the intricate strokes of Calligraphy and Drawing, reflected the dedication and enthusiasm of the students.
Open House & the STEAM Display
The Open House along with the STEAM Display were the key highlights, where students presented activities based on their curriculum, showcasing their hands on experience and creativity.

The Skating and Karate demonstrations were particularly impressive, leaving the parents in awe of the students’ skills. The visual art exhibition highlighted the students’ creativity, skill, and artistic growth.
Blood Donation Camp
In addition, students of the IBDP organized a Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with the Civil Hospital, as part of their commitment to service and community support. The event was an outstanding success, with students demonstrating a wide array of talents and passions while making meaningful contributions to important social causes.
The energy and enthusiasm of the participants and visitors made the carnival a truly memorable event. The event concluded with a lucky draw, adding a final touch of excitement.
