Mukesh Ambani-led telecom major Reliance Jio on Monday announced the ‘2020 Happy New Year Offer’ under which it is offering deals for mobile recharges and handsets. The offer rolls out on Tuesday and comes with 8 percent discount in tariff.
Existing subscribers will get 1.5 GB data per day, unlimited voice calls, SMS for a recharge of ₹2020 which is valid for a year, Jio said in a statement.
After the recent hike in tariff in first week of December, 2019, the full year tariff was Rs 2,199. Under the new offer, the price of 1.5 GB per day with unlimited voice and other services is Rs5.53 per day, which was earlier Rs6.02 per day, the release added.
There is another offer under the scheme where for ₹2,020, a user can buy a JioPhone bundled with 12 months of services — 0.5 GB data per day and unlimited voice calls, SMS.
