AHMEDABAD, FEB 22
To create and nurture the spirit of adventure and camaraderie and to promote Civil-Military Joint Goodwill, a cycling expedition was undertaken from Air Force Station Vadodara to Statue of Unity at Kevadia on Saturday, February 22, a Defence release said.

A mixed contingent of 50 personnel from the Indian Air Force (IAF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Airport Authority of India (AAI) and Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) took part in the expedition. The expedition was flagged off from South Western Air Command Ecological Park, Vadodara by Air Cmde II Kuttappa, VM, VSM, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Vadodara.
The cycling expedition successfully culminated at the Statue of Unity which symbolizes India’s Unity & Integrity. The Civil-Military Joint Goodwill Cycle Expedition was undertaken with great zeal and enthusiasm and promoted the message of ‘Fit India’ and ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’.
