JSW MG Motor India, a leading carmaker of the country, celebrated International Women’s Day with the brave policewomen of the Vadodara Police last Thursday. To pay tribute to the selfless service of these policewomen to the nation, the company organised a MG car drive using 11 MG Cars in association with Policewomen officers, highlighting the benefits of EVs and its positive impact on the environment.

The event witnessed the participation of more than 500 attendees, including prominent dignitaries such as Narsimha Komar, IPS – Commissioner of Police, Vadodara and Yuvrajsinh Jadeja, IPS; Usha Rada, IPS; Panna Momaya, IPS; Abhishek Gupta, IPS; Jyoti Patel, GPS; along with Assistant Commissioners of Police and Police Inspectors from all zones of Vadodara and Woman Leaders of various NGOs.
The event also witnessed JSW MG Motor India partner with Vadodara Police to provide motor training to 50 nominated women, enhancing their skills and independence. The company will also explore job opportunities for qualified female family members of police personnel, further promoting economic empowerment. Additionally, the company will help in the development of women’s quiet room and creche facilities at Panigate Police Station, supporting work-life balance for women officers.
