Summers have become fierce and the cases of heat stroke are increasing due to scorching heat. 335 emergency cases of heat stroke have come up in the month of April alone. Kalorex Group has started “Water Bell” system to maintain adequate hydration among the students.
Kalorex Group is a leading educational group, which is committed to the overall development and well-being of students. Through which the “Water Bell” system has been introduced to ensure adequate hydration of students in K-12 schools. The water bell rings three times during school hours. Which reminds the students and teachers to drink water from time to time.
Dr Manjula Pooja Shroff, MD and CEO of Kalorex Group said the initiative encourages regular hydration breaks and instils healthy habits that will benefit students for years to come.
“Through the ‘Water-Bell’ initiative, we are prioritising the health of our students by ensuring adequate hydration during school hours. It aligns with our approach to education, which emphasises the holistic well-being of students,” Dr. Shroff said.
The “Water-Bell” system has been implemented in all K-12 schools, including Delhi Public School, Bopal, Delhi Public School East, Ahmedabad, Kalorex Future School, Mundra, Kalorex Future School, Ghatlodia, Kalorex Future School Bharuch, and Saurabh English School. The organisation’s shelter home, Visamo Kids, has also embraced the “Water-Bell” system.
