Karnataka-based Supreem Pharmaceuticals Mysore Pvt Ltd on Monday announced the launch of Supreem Super Foods, a healthy superfoods brand in Chennai.
The brand unveiled 30 products under two verticals – Normalife and Normahealth in the presence of Srivatsan Attur, Strategic Advisor – Supreem Super Foods.
Addressing reporters at the launch event, Srivatsan Attur said, “Supreem Pharma is entering the superfoods market with the goal of enhancing healthy living by addressing the gap in dietary intake. The company has done extensive research into food science and has created solutions to assist close the gap. We hope to be present across 2000+ plus stores in the Chennai region by the end of this financial year in the select General Trade, all FMCG Modern Trade and all Pharma Modern Trade outlets and we also plan to be entering into cities like Coimbatore, Trichy, Madurai, Salem, Vellore and Pondicherry with the presence of another 2000+ stores within these cities. We have a magnanimous plan to reach 3,00,000 households in Chennai city and 2,00,000 households in the other cities of Tamil Nadu through our product sampling activities before the end of the current financial year.”

He also said that they have planned for SIS, EBO, and Supreem Super Food Neighborhood stores in Chennai and other cities where we will be launching our Brand which will also be an integral channel of business for our brand. We will cater to the FMCG segment and the Pharma Segment with our two verticals of products (Normalife & Normahealth).
The company will also be launching its brand across all Metro Cities and Mini metro cities before November 2022.
Srivatsan Attur said that the company outsourced production of its chemical-free super foods in about 9 factories across the nation.
“We are very stringent in maintaining the quality of the products, all the factories have our own quality testing personnel, each and every products were being allowed to pack after thorough quality testing’’ he added.
B2B Biz achieves Rs 77-crore turnover
Supreem Pharmaceuticals Mysore Pvt. Ltd. in the B2B business achieved a turnover of Rs. 77 Crores last financial year. The CAGR has been over 20% turnover and profitability over the last 5 years.
This financial year with the launch of the consumer products division Supreem Super Foods, the company hopes to achieve a combined turnover of around Rs. 90-100 Crores. Supreem Pharmaceuticals is investing over Rs. 25 Crores over the next 5 years to build the Consumer business to achieve a CAGR of over 30% in the next 5 years to reach a combined turnover of Rs. 250+ Crores with both the divisions giving an approximately equal share to the business and consumer business.
