Karnataka Tourism showcased its offerings at the IITM Chennai 2023, held from August 4th to 6th, 2023. The state presented an impressive 150-sq. mts exhibit at the Chennai Trade Center. This event provided an ideal platform for Karnataka to present the splendour of the Mysore Palace and the rich wildlife of the state, attracting travel enthusiasts, industry professionals, and media representatives.
The event witnessed an overwhelming response from visitors, travel professionals, and industry experts, all captivated by the bountiful tourism offerings of Karnataka. The stand was a captivating representation of the state’s charm, featuring the splendid heritage architecture of Mysore Palace, which served as an emblem of Karnataka’s regal and cultural legacy. Furthermore, the stand artfully showcased the state’s diverse wildlife. The engaging display left a profound impact, captivating attendees to explore the diverse and enchanting experiences that Karnataka has to offer.
The Karnataka Tourism stand was inaugurated by Smt. Rakhee Gupta Bhandari, IAS, Principal Secretary Tourism Department of Punjab, in the presence of Shri. Shashi Kumar B H, Assistant Director Department of Tourism, Shri. Ratnakar HT, Tourism Advisor, Jungle Lodges & Resorts, Smt. Jaya Achaiah, Assistant Manager, Jungle Lodges & Resorts and Assistant Manager, KSTDC. The pavilion included various tourism service providers from Karnataka, such as; The Quorum Hotel, Quality Holidays & Cars Pvt. Ltd., Intersight Tours & Travels, Big Travels, Galore Inn LLP, Hotel Le Ruchi the Prince, Woodstock Resorts, Kadkani River Resorts Pvt. Ltd., Skyway International Travels, Honey Dew Resort, Three Friends Travels International, TGI Hotels & Resorts, Cintacor Island Resort, Milan Enterprises, Coorg Cliffs Resorts India Pvt. Throughout the event, the Karnataka Tourism delegation actively engaged in profitable discussions with domestic tour operators, travel agents, and key stakeholders. Their primary objective was to strengthen existing partnerships and forge new collaborations, all aimed at boosting tourism to the magnificent state of Karnataka.
