Students of Unitedworld Institute of Design (UID) affiliated with Karnavati University, collaborated with acclaimed musician Kanishk Seth to create seven unique music videos for his upcoming song, ’Yaara Ve’. For the first time, a group of seven students of UID made films that have been used in the production of the pre-launch of a single song. The project was guided by Rajat Nagpal, Vishal P, and Santosh Kumar.
Karnavati University is a state private university dedicated to excellence in teaching and is focused on interdisciplinary learning.
In fact, none of these seven students came with prior experience or a degree in filmmaking and yet left faculty members and producers spellbound with their videos as every frame and element of the film was carefully planned and shot.
Each video made by three students was a distinct interpretation of Seth’s song. The videos showcased diverse perspectives through unique and innovative storytelling techniques.

Seth was deeply moved by the creativity and depth showcased in each video. “I couldn’t express how inspired I felt. It was incredible to see my song evoke such deep interpretations. I feel so refreshed and motivated to get back to the studio and work on new ideas,” he said.
The student films were not only rich in conceptual depth but also demonstrated meticulous planning and execution. This collaboration was aimed at nurturing and leveraging the creative potential of UID students.
Time and again, Karnavati University has focussed on creating new platforms to let students create and innovate.
