As the Lok Sabha election is nearing, films with the good communal-based content with punch dialogues started hitting the screens in the recent past from ‘Ravana Kottam’ and ‘Kazhuvethi Moorkan.’
‘Kathar Basha Endra Muthuramalingam’, an action drama written and directed by Muthaiah, who holds the major interest of fans from south Tamil Nadu, chose the content of Hindu-Muslim bond in Ramanathapuram district
He has delivered the film with a good screenplay. Arya’s physique fits the role of Kathar Basha perfectly, however the dialogue delivery with punch dialogues are also good. Action sequences are excellent.
Actress Siddhi Idnani (an actress with Kannathil Kuzhi) gets a meaty role and has done complete justice to the character.

‘Aadukalam’ Naren in village Dada Nana character and Prabhu as Jamaat leader have all done justice to the given characters.
DOP Velraj’s camerawork has captured the scenes in an effective manner.
The film’s editing was done by Venkat Raajen. G V Prakash Kumar composed the film’s soundtrack and background score, and Thanikodi, Logam, and Junior Nithya wrote the lyrics for the songs. Vedikkaranpatti S. Sakthivel produced this film under the banners of Drumsticks Productions and Zee Studios.
Storyline
“Kathar Basha Endra Muthuramalingam” is set in the Ramanathapuram district, where the formidable rowdy Nana attempts to take over a village. Kathar (Arya) won’t listen to him and won’t settle their differences.
Siddhi Idnani (Tamilarasi), a foster mother of three young girls (daughters of his brother) revolting against a pack of men in the village.
The battle is to save herself from being married off to one of the two influential men in the village that she shares bad blood with. She seeks the help of Arya who comes into picture and what happened next and why were the influential men going behind Siddhi forms the rest of the story.

Arya and Siddhi Idnani starred in the lead roles, along with Prabhu, Bhagyaraj, Singam Puli, and many others in supporting roles.
