Close on the heels of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Tamil Nadu visit, BJP state unit chief Nainar Nagenthran on Wednesday rejigged the office-bearers to make it poll-ready.

The party appointed 14 State Vice-Presidents, including actor-politician Khushbu Sundar, Sasikala Pushpa, M Chakravarthy, V.P. Duraisamy, Karu Nagarajan, P.Kanagasabapathi and R.C. Paul Kanagaraj. Kesava Vinayakan has been named as General Secretary (Organisation), BJP Tamil Nadu.
Expressing her gratitude, Khushbu Sundar said she was “absolutely elated and very, very happy” about the appointment, and thanked senior party leaders for placing their trust in her.
Youth leader SG Suryah has been made Tamil Nadu BJP Youth Wing President. Pon V Balaganapathy, Raama Sreenivasan, A.P. Muruganandam, M. Muruganandam and P. Karthiyayini have been appointed as State General Secretaries. Karate Thiagarajan, Amar Prasad Reddy, Vinod P. Selvam, A Ashvathaman among others have been appointed as State secretaries. S.R. Sekar has been named as State treasurer and M.Sivasubramaniam is appointed as deputy treasurer. K T Raghavan appointed as State organiser. Narayanan Thirupathy is appointed as spokesperson.
