The 19th Annual Motif TTEC Charity Walk was held on Sunday which saw the participation of 6,970 in a first-of-its-kind virtual event from different cities of India and across the world allowing us to witness zeal and enthusiasm with beautiful landscapes in the backdrop. The pandemic did not dampen our spirits, and the TTEC volunteers leveraged technology to organize and manage the event as we do every year and connected with all the participants at a global level – socially distant but emotionally connected.
Walk/run from ANYWHERE created several unique stories:
- Running in sub-zero temperature; Connecticut, USA
- Running 10 kms in heavy rainfall; Bengaluru, India
- Trekking trail in Rizal mountains; The Philippines
- An octogenarian walking barefooted in the event for the last 18 years; Ahmedabad, India
- Running alongside Beach Road; Vizag, India
- Walking in the wilderness of Periyar Tiger Reserve; Kerala, India
- Senior citizens walking in the comfort of their home; Ahmedabad, India
- A 12-year-old budding marathon runner completed 10 kms run; Ahmedabad, India
This event provided a transparent platform for individuals and companies to come together to promote health awareness and raised funds for 3 different NGOs, and thereby bring humanity to business. The 5 km walk / 10 km run was flagged off at 7 am and was streamed live on the Motif TTEC Charity Walk Facebook page and RJ Dhvanit’s Instagram handle.
