In order to commemorate the 81st Electronics and Mechanical Engineers Corps Day, EME School, Vadodara is organizing Military Equipment display at Vadodara on Saturday and Sunday, 07 & 08 October 2023. This will enthuse the youth of the country and showcase the might and capability of Indian Army and motivate Individuals to join Armed Forces.

The prestigious Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (EME) is completing 80 years of its glorious contribution to the Indian Army on 15 October 2023.
A wide variety of military equipment ranging from new generation Armament and Gun systems, latest state-of-art Surveillance Equipments & Infantry Weapons, Combat Vehicles and Air Defence Guns & Radars were on display. The event was attended by local populace, youth & Children in large numbers and provided them an opportunity to know their Army. The viewers also got an opportunity to interact with the soldiers and visit a special stall set up to provide information to the youth to join armed forces.
The Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (EME) is responsible for the maintenance and sustenance of vast spectrum of equipment held on the inventory of Indian Army. Since its inception in 1943, the Corps has continued to excel in all its endeavours and has carved a niche for itself.
The Corps has stood to its ethos on “Karam Hi Dharm” and ensured the fighting troops need not look back for repair and maintenance be it icy heights of Siachen Glacier to the deserts of Rajasthan and remote and arduous jungles of the North East. It undertakes quality work relating to the overhaul of battle systems, indigenization, manufacture of spares, development of simulators and much more. The Corps has also reached-out to agencies, both in public and private sector, synergizing with them effectively as partners in research & development initiatives, building self-sufficiency, technology management and providing impetus to the Make in India campaign.
