General Officer Commanding of Konark Corps Lieutenant General PS Minhas on Tuesday visited Nasirabad Military Station in Rajasthan to carry out comprehensive review of operational and administrative readiness, says a Defence release.

The General Officer was briefed on various operational initiatives being undertaken to meet the challenges and exploit the opportunities in a technology enabled network centric battlefield environment.

The General Officer was also briefed by the Station Commander and Commandant Military Hospital Nasirabad on the COVID situation and smooth functioning of the Military Station and the Hospital . He took stock of medical facilities and management of civilians for treatment of COVID.
Lieutenant General PS Minhas complimented the medical staff and all front line workers for the continued and relentless service to mankind in these difficult times of the COVID pandemic.

Lieutenant General PS Minhas, laid emphasis on maintaining a high state of operational readiness, synergy and cooperation amongst all the Services . The General Officer expressed satisfaction on the operational readiness of the formations and exhorted all ranks to continue training hard and keep up the highest standards of readiness.
