It was flagged in by Naik (Retired) Sagat Singh, a war veteran of the 1971 Indo-Pak war from 9 Rajputana Rifles at Ecological Territorial Army Battalion Srimohangarh.
A team of two officers and 18 Bravehearts of the Indian Armed Forces undertook the 194-km expedition, to spread awareness about COVID-19 amongst the rural populace of the area. The team also reached out to all Ex-Servicemen, Next of Kins and Veer Naaris in the area, to create awareness about various welfare schemes and monetary benefits of the government.
The expedition team was greeted with a lot of zeal and fervor by the local population and Ex-servicemen community despite the pandemic scenario. A medical camp was also organised at Srimohangarh by the medical team of Konark Corps.
