Arvind SmartSpaces Limited (ASL), one of India’s leading real estate development companies and part of the Arvind Group, has announced a key leadership transition with Kulin Lalbhai being appointed as Chairman of the company, effective November 3, 2025. The move follows Sanjay Lalbhai’s decision to step down from the Board of Directors after a distinguished tenure as Chairman and Non-Executive Director.
Under Sanjay Lalbhai’s visionary leadership, Arvind SmartSpaces has grown from a fledgling business into one of the most trusted and respected names in Indian real estate, known for its design excellence, integrity, and innovation-led development.
Reflecting on his journey with the company, Sanjay Lalbhai said: “It has been an honour to serve on the Board of Arvind SmartSpaces and witness its journey from inception to becoming a trusted real estate brand. I am grateful to our team for their commitment and to our customers and stakeholders for their unwavering support.
As part of the company’s succession planning process and to ensure leadership continuity, I have decided to step down from the position of Chairman and Non-Executive Director. We are well-positioned for the future, and I am confident that Kulin and the management team will continue to create sustainable, long-term value for all.”
Following this transition, Kulin Lalbhai, who has been serving as Vice Chairman, will now take over as Chairman of Arvind SmartSpaces. Known for his strategic acumen and deep understanding of emerging market dynamics, Kulin has played a central role in scaling the company’s business footprint and driving digital and customer-centric transformation.
