Ushering in the New Year with laughter, warmth and relatable storytelling, the Gujarati film ‘Bicharo Bachelor’ is all set for a grand statewide theatrical release on January 1, 2026. Written and directed by Vipul Sharma, the film blends light-hearted humour with heartfelt family emotions, positioning itself as the perfect festive entertainer for audiences of all ages.

Already creating strong pre-release buzz, the film taps into a universally familiar theme — the social pressure surrounding marriage — and presents it with comic timing, cultural flavour and emotional resonance.
At the heart of the film is Anuj, a 28-year-old bachelor portrayed by popular actor Tushar Sadhu, whose life takes a hilarious turn as his family launches a full-scale mission to find him the “perfect bride.” The narrative humorously captures the everyday questions, awkward encounters and emotional negotiations that unmarried men in their late twenties face.

Speaking about the role, Tushar Sadhu said the film mirrors the reality of countless young men who hear the same question at every family gathering: “When are you getting married?” The character’s journey strikes a chord with today’s youth while evoking nostalgia among married audiences.
Produced by S. R. Patel and Raju Radia under the banners of Veer Studios and Raju Radia Productions, the film is co-produced by Dr. Jayesh Patel and Nikhil Raikundalia. The cast features a strong ensemble including Prashant Barot, Jay Pandya, Jaimini Trivedi and Sahil Patel, who add depth and humour to the story.
Adding further sparkle are nine talented actresses — Twinkal Patel (Kachhadia), Riddhi Dangar, Shivani Pancholi, Madhavi Patel, Teertha, Krina Pathak, Shivangi Nayak, Khushbu Trivedi and Aanchal Shah — whose performances introduce unexpected twists, comic turns and lively moments that keep the narrative engaging throughout.
Director Vipul Sharma believes ‘Bicharo Bachelor’ connects seamlessly with audiences across generations by sensitively portraying male dilemmas, female expectations and broader social realities with humour and empathy. Timed perfectly with the wedding season, the film promises clean, wholesome family entertainment that resonates with marriage-ready youngsters, parents and extended families alike.
With its relatable premise, energetic performances and festive release date, ‘Bicharo Bachelor’ is poised to become one of the most talked-about Gujarati films of the New Year.
