Carrying the spirit of Diwali beyond city lights, the Rotary Club of Bhavnagar Vibrant brought festive cheer to the residents of Mokhadka village near Palitana on October 16.

As part of its Diwali outreach initiative, the club distributed one-month food kits to 40 underprivileged families, ensuring that the festival of lights reached every home. In addition, 15 children from the village Anganwadi were delighted with snacks and sweets, turning the day into a joyful celebration.
Club President Namrita Chadha, who led the distribution drive, said she was overjoyed to share happiness with those in need. For villagers who were elderly or unwell and unable to collect the kits, the club made special arrangements to deliver them personally to their homes.
The simple yet heartfelt gesture brought smiles and hope to many faces in Mokhadka. Through this act of kindness, Rotary Bhavnagar Vibrant reaffirmed its commitment to spreading compassion and lighting up lives — the true essence of Diwali.
