The Lions Club of Ahmedabad Knowledge- District 3232 B1 installed its new team of office-bearers at its swearing-in ceremony held here on Friday.
Past District Governor of District 3232 B1 and the Installation Officer Lion Dr Praveenkant Dave and Guest of Honour, Gujarat BJP Media Convenor, and Trustee of Shri Samast Gujarat Bhram Samaj State Division Yagnesh Dave installed the new president Akshay Dave and his team in a glittering ceremony.
New Board Members inducted for the year 2023-24 comprise President Lion Akshay Dave, 1st VP Lion Subhojit Sen, 2nd VP Lion Dr Darshan Talreja, 3rd VP Lion Prashant Vasani, Secretary Lion CA Utkarsh Desai, Joint Secretary Lion Ritu Mehta, Treasurer Lion Mehek Sanghvi, Joint Treasurer Lion Omprakash Gupta, Tail Twister Lion Vikram Shah, Tamer Lion Teerth Dave, Club Care Taker Lion Kumar Shah, Project Director Lion Yachinka Shelat, GLT Lion Aishwarya Jain, GMT Lion Piyush Kotecha, GST Lion Sejal Shekhawat and Board of Directors Lion SS Agarwal, Lion Kumar Pala, Lion Manish Chirnia, Lion Sanjay Agarwal, Lion Nilesh Gandhi, Lion Dr Palak Mehta.
After the installation ceremony, new President Lion Akshay Dave said, “With the kind cooperation of my team and the guidance of the outgoing team, the Club will continue its socio-welfare measures like education, healthcare and environmental issues in and around Ahmedabad. Diabetes is one of the most prevalent diseases afflicting the masses. We will hold preventive and awareness camps to address this vital issue. We will also extend all possible help to the needy students to pursue education and become good leaders.”
Guest of Honour Yagnesh Dave greeted the new team and the Lions Club for its selfless service to the society. Lion Dakshesh Soni welcomed the new team and spoke at length on the works of Lions Club of Ahmedabad Knowledge and how more projects can be done.
