One can make a difference in the life of needy for their health, education and economic uplift through NGOs run by good Samaritans in Gujarat. All that one has to do is just loosen his/her purse strings and make coming Sunday, February 20, a Funday by taking part in the 20th Annual Motif TTEC Charity Walk 2022 to be held virtually.
Ahmedabad to host 20th Annual Motif TTEC Charity Walk 2022 virtually on Sunday
The first virtual charity Motif TTEC walk witnessed 7,000 enthusiastic participation from different cities of India and the rest of the world amidst the pandemic in 2021. The entire event was streamed live on the official Facebook page of Motif TTEC.
Speaking with navjeevanexpress.com, Kaushal Mehta, Vice President & General Manager, India – TTEC, said, “The Charity Walk started as a fun activity in 2003 but has become an important and highly awaited city event, with thousands of participants each year. It has been highly successful in meeting its objectives through the support of individual contributions and corporate sponsorships. Over the last 19 years, the walk has had more than 85,000 participants and 271 sponsors and helped raise Rs. 8.86 crore for 62 NGOs.”
Stating that kindness and giving back in everything we do is a fundamental core of what we believe in, Mehta unveiled the complimentary T-shirt to be distributed among 4,000 participants on Thursday and introduced the representatives of four NGOs from different parts of Gujarat who will be the beneficiaries of this charity event.
To a query on the number of registrations for this year’s event, Mehta replied that so far over 5,000 persons have done online registrations and it will remain open till Sunday morning.
The representatives of the four beneficiary NGOs of the 20th Annual Charity Walk MARAG (Maldhari Rural Action Group –www.marag.org), Mukul Trust (www.mukultrust.org) , Sanchetana Community Health & Research Centre (www.sanchetana.org) and Vedchhi Pradesh Seva Samiti (www.vpssvalod.org) have shared the activities of their respective organizations with the media at the end.
