“Lord Ram is not an electoral topic for BJP and neither is Hindutva,” Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmer’s Welfare Shivraj Singh Chauhan declared at the ABP News “Shikhar Sammelan – Bharat Ka Budget”. He was responding to a question around the loss of seats in UP and electoral politics of BJP. “People should understand the real meaning of Hindutva properly,” he added.
Expressing his views on the Union Budget 2024, Shivraj Singh Chauhan, said, “India is self-reliant in food grains. The Union Budget 2024 looks into future needs of the country, as it promotes natural farming and focusses on releasing new 109 high-yielding and climate-resilient varieties of fruits, vegetable and grain crops for cultivation.”
He further claimed, “The earnings of farmers have increased in the past decade. We are offering loans to farmers in low interests. 80% of farmers are small farmers in India. We have to reduce population dependency on agriculture. ”
“Those who have won just 99 seats are displaying inflated egos. Increasing or decreasing seats are part of electoral politics in a democracy.” Shivraj Singh Chauhan, elaborated upon BJP’s and NDA’s performance in General Elections 2024.
He further added, “We won 20 out of 21 seats in Odisha. Our performance has either improved or has been stellar in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Delhi.”
“The Union Budget 2024 is a complete budget and is for the entire country, not for a particular state,” Shivraj Singh Chauhan said.
While discussing the last electoral victory in the state, Shivraj Singh Chauhan, said, “Contrary to all exit polls, I was confident that BJP is winning 150+ seats in Madhya Pradesh.”
Showcasing confidence upon future wins, he added, “Due to good governance of NDA Government, we will soon form Government in Jharkhand.”
Commenting on the recent NEET 2024 leaks, Shivraj Singh Chauhan, said “The Hon’ble Supreme Court’s remarks on the NEET election reflects the Government’s endeavours in catching the culprits and reforming the system.”
