Sharanya Manivannan, the author of seven books spanning fiction, poetry, and children’s literature, is celebrated for her evocative prose and deeply introspective narratives. Her acclaimed short story collection, The High Priestess Never Marries, won the prestigious South Asia Laadli Award, while her graphic novel Incantations Over Water further cemented her standing in contemporary Indian literature. Her body of work has been recognised by leading literary platforms and festivals, making her presence a thoughtful highlight of Crossword’s Valentine’s Day celebration.
