The title track of the film and Mumbaiya Gujarati song are getting a lot of public love. The film is winning the hearts of the audience with its fun and interesting storyline. To promote the film, actresses Mansi Parekh, Shraddha Dangar, actor Sanjay Goradia and director Viral Shah were guests of GLS University in Ahmedabad and discussed the film. The film is scheduled to release on August 1, 2025.
Maharani revolves around Rani (Shraddha Dangar), a quirky and carefree maid who comes to do housework in a modern household. It is the story of the lives of a young couple – Mansi Parekh and Ojas Rawal. Rani’s erratic nature and clumsy behavior sometimes become a source of laughter and sometimes a cause of trouble in the household. The huge messes she creates during her daily chores and then making up various excuses for them make the audience laugh.

This film tells a very light but very important story. As if written from a piece of everyone’s life, this comedy film speaks volumes about the unique bond between the mistress of the house and her maid.”

Talented actor Mansi Parekh says, “While working on this film, I realized that our relationship with our housemaid is truly unique and special. ‘Maharani’ touches on female friendship, self-worth and self-love from a larger perspective. This is a story that tells a wonderful story about ordinary life. Working with so many talented actors and a director like Viral was a dream come true. My character, Mansi, is like any independent working woman – life brings new challenges every day and she copes with them in her own unique way. It was a lot of fun working with Shraddha and as we progressed in this journey, we developed a deep friendship that will definitely be reflected on screen. I am eager for the audience to watch this film and walk away from the theatre with something valuable to learn.”

The producers of this film are Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, Pritesh Thakkar, Madhu Sharma and Viral Shah. The film is directed by National Award-winning and successful film director Viral Shah, while the story is written by Ram Mori and Hardik Sangani. Maharani is a film that portrays the subtle yet special relationship between a modern woman and her domestic helper with light humor and drama.
