Cadila Pharmaceuticals, one of the oldest and largest privately-held pharmaceutical companies in the country, on Wednesday announced its President of Corporate Affairs, Raj Prakash Vyas, has been conferred the prestigious Award of Excellence for his Lifetime Contribution to Industry.
The award was conferred on Vyas by Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari at the Raj Bhavan in Mumbai on last Sunday, January 8, 2023.
The award recognises Vyas’ exemplary contribution to the Industry for the last 28 years by creating new business development and diversification strategies through Corporate Affairs and helping generate livelihood opportunities.
“I am humbled to be receiving the Award of Excellence for Lifetime Contribution to Industry. It is an overwhelming feeling to be recognised with this prestigious honour before such an august gathering of Industry stalwarts and leaders. I express my sincere gratitude to all, including my colleagues at Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited, who supported, encouraged and inspired to dream more, act more and deliver more in this professional journey,” Vyas said.
Before joining Cadila Pharmaceuticals, Vyas served in Chambal Fertilisers, Adani Enterprises, and Jindal Group in his illustrious professional journey of close to three decades. The awards were presented by Uttar Bhartiya Mahasangh & Sahitya Ganga, Mumbai to recognise and award Indian stalwarts for their contribution to the nation’s growth.
Vyas has pursued several programmes in management, strategy and international business from reputed Indian and international institutions, including Harvard Business School. He is also an alumnus of Rajasthan Agricultural University from where he completed his Master’s degree.
