Major General Sukriti Singh Dahiya on Wednesday flagged off the Dakshin Bharat Motor Cycle Expedition to commemorate the diamond jubilee of Artillery Centre, Hyderabad. It was flagged off at Headquarters Dakshin Bharat Area of Indian Army, Chennai.

- Team reached Chennai from Dhanuskodi via Trichy and Pondicherry a day before
- The team is delivering various motivational and awareness lectures to NCC Cadets and youth for joining Army throughout their journey from Hyderabad to Dhanushkodi and back
Major General Sukriti Singh Dahiya, Chief of Staff, Dakshin Bharat Area flagged off the Rally. The 3,000 km Motor Cycle Expedition has been undertaken by a group 10 Motorcycle riders from Artillery Centre, Hyderabad. The expedition is named as Dakshin Bharat Expedition meaning South Indian Expedition, as it covers the larger part of South India.
The team is heading to Sriharikota on their voyage back to Hyderabad. Team reached Chennai from Dhanuskodi via Trichy and Pondicherry a day before. The team is delivering various motivational and awareness lectures to NCC Cadets and youth for joining Army throughout their journey from Hyderabad to Dhanushkodi and back. The team also meets with the veer naris, veterans and ex-servicemen in the expedition, which started on October 23, 2022.
Artillery Centre, Hyderabad was raised on 15 August 1962 as the Second Recruit Training Centre for the Regiment of Artillery. The Centre is presently commanded by Brigadier Jaydeep Yadav. The Centre is located in the historic Golconda Fort.
