Malhar Thakar, who wowed audiences with his debut feature ‘Chhello Divas,’ ‘GolKeri,’ ‘Passport,’ and many more, has emerged as the Gujarati film industry’s dreamboat and Superstar. Malhar Thakar, along with his entire cast and crew, on Sunday announced that they are supporting the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign led by Prime Minister Narendra Modiji to inspire people to bring the Tiranga home and hoist it to commemorate the 75th anniversary of our Independence.
This Gujarati cinema celebrity has charmed the audience with his incredible acting and five upcoming projects this year.
‘Vanilla Ice Cream’ is one of the top movies written and directed by Preet Sinh, produced by Solo Sparrow Films and co-produced by Black Horse Productions. The movie was expected to begin filming in Monsoon. However, the shooting has been postponed due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) and the lockdown in 2020.

After the successful launch of ‘Vicky no Varghodo,’ ‘Sarabhai,’ ‘Sandeep Patel’s Untitled Next, and ’Dhuandhaar,’ Malhar Thakar will be seen as the lead actor playing the role of Varun in the wholesome family entertainer, ‘Vanilla Icecream’, showcasing the sun and shadows of life with a light and compassionate storyline. The movie would be a complete package of comedy, romance, drama, and emotions with superstars like Archan Trivedi, Vandana Pathak, and Satish Bhatt onscreen.
‘Vanilla Icecream’ is a love story depicting the story of a family with an emotional touch pleasing the audience feeling the same in their real lives. It will be shot in Science City-Ahmedabad and other parts of Gujarat.

Writer-director of ’Vanilla Icecream’ Preetsinh says, “This is a film with good message for all age groups on maintaining the rich traditional values of nuclear families in the urbanized Gujarat in particular. ‘Vanilla Icecream’ mingles well with all flavours but maintains its unique identity. Similarly, all family members have to mingle with each other and show the united flavours of their family.”
