A new adventure book – a story that reveals the time when Pharaoh’s ruled over Egypt. Meenara – The Daughter of Tutankhamun, is an amazing and unique fantasy story penned by a bubbly teenager named Vishakha Bhatnagar from Ahmedabad.
On February 6, 2021, in Ahmedabad, a city known for its rich cultural and linguistic history, a young writer entered the world of fiction with the release of her first historical fiction, Meenara – The Daughter of Tutankhamen.
The book was launched at AMA, Atira Campus, Ahmedabad. Vision Raval from V-Publishers, Mahendrabhai Sharma – founder of Matrubharati, Umashankar Yadav – Founder-Director of AILF – Ahmedabad International Literature Festival, Parajitbhai Patel – Senior columnist, Gujarat Samachar, Tejal Vasavada – Director of American Corner and Ms Nutan Kotak (Gujarat University) were present on the occasion of launch.
Meenara is a riveting time-travel story about the singular yet amazing adventure of Katherine Rivera (the main protagonist) and her friends as they face threats, betrayal, friendship, magic and a real test of the word – friendship.
Will Katherine and her friends survive these threats from powers beyond their imagination?
Are the stories about Meenara and the great Pharaoh Tutankhamen really true or just a folklore, like a mirage in the vast desert sand dunes of Egypt?
