Stating that Gujarat is having better infrastructure with large number of SMBs and MSMEs, leading trade fair organizer Messe Muenchen India on Wednesday said to cater to their needs it is holding drink technology India, IFAT India and Intersolar India in collaboration with Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry. With these events, MMI expands its regional footprint and this special edition for industry professionals will facilitate them to meet, greet and do business.
The shows are organised from Thursday, December 2 to Saturday, December 4 at Helipad Exhibition Centre, Gandhinagar.
Commenting on this initiative, Bhupinder Singh, CEO – Messe Muenchen India, said, “Considering the current pandemic situation, December seems to be a viable option to conduct our trade fairs. Gujarat is one of the leading industrialized states in India and has the biggest contributor in many industrial segments. Elaborating on the significance of these events, Bhupinder Singh, commented, “We are happy to provide this opportunity for buyers and sellers to meet face to face and unlock new business opportunities. About 200 companies from all parts of the country are taking part in these three expos out of which nearly 50 percent of them from Gujarat,”

Founder-Chairman of National Solar Energy Federation of India Pranav R Mehta proudly stated that Gujarat had installed a whopping 60,000 subsidised rooftop solar plants in the residential segment, the highest in the country. Further Gujarat Government offers 20 percent subsidy for 3KW and 40 percent for 3KW to 10 KW capacity residential sector to install rooftop solar power plants. SMBs and MSMEs have adopted thi in arge numbers and sell their surplus energy to the discoms. Farmers have adopted the solar power subsidy scheme and getting additional income in Gujarat. Enterprising Gujaratis have already started manufacturing and exporting solar panels. ..
