Due to torrential rain in Cauvery’s catchment areas, the water level at the Stanley Reservoir in Mettur near Salem has crossed 100 feet mark as against its full level of 120 feet at 12.10 p.m. on Friday.
This is the fourth time, the water level of the dam has crossed 100 feet during this calendar year.
Earlier, the water level of the dam crossed 100 feet level on September 25, October 13, and again on October 24, sources in the WRO of PWD said on Friday.
