AHMEDABAD, SEPT 1

With an aim to celebrate stories of change that encourage institutions to embrace technology as an enabler rather than just a tool, MICA Ahmedabad and Digii have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly design, develop and disseminate narratives of digital transformation in higher education.

The MoU was recently signed at the MICA campus between Jaya Deshmukh, Director & CEO, MICA and Hemant Sahal, Founder, Digii, a platform that helps institutions to streamline operations and enhance learning experiences.

The partnership with Digii will operate under the project titled ‘SATHI’: Stories Advancing Technology & Higher-ed Institutions. Through SATHI, the initiative seeks to identify, research, and document impactful digital transformation stories from across educational institutions, showcasing real experiences that foster stronger engagement between technology providers and academia.

Speaking on the collaboration, MICA Director & CEO Jaya Deshmukh, said, “This partnership with Digii underlines our commitment to amplify voices of transformation in education and technology, its role in shaping the future of learning, and to bear testimony to MICAs repute as a chosen institution for communications and the art of storytelling.” The storytelling strategy and creative development will be spearheaded by Prof. Ruchi Tewari, Associate Dean, Marketing, Communication and Public Affairs at MICA, along with her team, ensuring a blend of academic insight and creative execution.

Adding to this, Hemant Sahal, Founder & CEO, DIGII, said, “SATHI is about the faith in the power of stories to build a community that holds trust between technology and higher-ed institutions. Together with MICA Ahmedabad, Digii is contributing to a larger mission of advancing partnerships and meaningful innovation across the ecosystem.”

The collaboration is expected to set a benchmark for how storytelling can be used as a powerful medium to showcase innovation, foster partnerships, and motivate wider adoption of technology in education.
