In a landmark collaboration aimed at strengthening research and fostering global academic exchange, MICA, Ahmedabad has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Springer Nature, one of the world’s leading research publishers. The partnership will support the publication of 25 open-access research articles in the field of Business and Economics, significantly enhancing visibility and accessibility to cutting-edge research from MICA.

The MoU was formally signed during the RISE Summit (Research Integrity in Science and Education), hosted at the MICA campus and supported by Springer Nature. The partnership marks a significant milestone in advancing open-access research and promoting inclusive, impactful knowledge creation in the fields of business and economics.
Speaking about the collaboration, Prof. Githa Heggde, Dean, MICA, said, “At MICA, research is valued, encouraged, and integrated into all aspects of teaching, fostering innovation and critical thinking, knowledge creation, and dissemination that impact students, industry, and society.
We are excited to collaborate with Springer Nature for their Cureus Series of Journals. This partnership will not only support the dissemination of high-impact, open-access research in business and economics but will also position MICA as a thought leader shaping the future of marketing strategies and communication.”
