PepsiCo’s campus challenge ‘Dare To Do More’ (DTDM) has today culminated with Taranjot from India bagging the coveted title of ‘AMESA DTDM 2020’. Based on an evaluation ofcreativity, thought leadership, critical thinking, and business acumen as key parameters. The India winner went on to showcase her groundbreaking idea to Eugene Willemsen, CEO, PepsiCo AMESA; Adam Parson, CHRO, PepsiCo AMESA; Manali Desai, Sr. Director, Strategy PepsiCo AMESA and Darren Tse, Commercial Director, Concessions at Expo 2020.
The winning idea this year was an exciting beverage innovation packing healthy fruits targeted to our rising youth generation. As a winner, Taranjot Kaur who is a student at MICA Ahmedabad has earned herself a job offer and the opportunity to kickstart her career with PepsiCo. Additionally, she’ll be mentored by PepsiCo’s senior leaders and will work on a 3-month international project with PepsiCo in Dubai.
A much sought-after campus challenge, PepsiCo’s DTDM challenge invited the young talent to share their BIG idea that could transform the food and beverage industry and win a chance to work with the company. The 2020 challenge’s theme was innovation and aimed to attract leaders of tomorrow, who can address real business issues and help PepsiCo become Faster, Stronger, and Better. Participants were asked to “Suggest an innovative idea backed by a viable business plan that has the power to take the food and beverage industry by storm.”
Congratulating the winners, Pavitra Singh, CHRO, PepsiCo India said, “Over the years, we have witnessed participation of the sharpest minds from top B-schools across the world in Dare to Do More, making it one of the most coveted recruitment challenges in the world. The elated winner, Taranjot Kaur from MICA said, “2020 has been a challenging year for many students as we step into the corporate world and start our professional journey.
